John Richard Waalwyk

John Richard "Dick" Waalwyk, 88, passed away November 14, 2006, at his home in Littleton, Colorado. He was born October 26, 1918, in Chicago, Illinois. Dick was a talented watercolor artist. He painted approximately 250 paintings - one of which is shown here. Dick is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Brenda Mary Hanwell Waalwyk, of Littleton; a daughter, Stephanie Gail Price and her husband Tim, of Littleton; four grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Catherine and Dingeman Waalwyk; and by a son, John S. Waalwyk. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday morning, November 22nd, at 9:00am, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Blvd. Please gather at Staging Area "A" by 8:50am.
