John Tara

John Tara, 56, of Lakewood Colorado passed away on May 26, 2019.

John was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and is the son of Nicholas and Helen Tara. John was a Navy Veteran from 1990 to 1993, and served in the Gulf War on the USS Biddle. John worked for many years at the Ace Hardware on Coal Mine and Pierce in Littleton, Colorado. He was also a member of Waterstone Community Church in Littleton, Colorado.

John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his sister Mary Bondar of Lakewood, Colorado, his brother Michael Tara of Berlin, Connecticut, his sister Anna Tara of Newington, Connecticut and he was an Uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 12th, at 10:30 am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227, following with a military burial Service at 12:00 pm at Fort Logan National Cemetery Staging Area A.

He will be greatly missed by all who new him.
