John 'Wayne' Schilling

John ""Wayne"" Schilling was born August 13, 1939 in Denver, CO and passed away on February 23, 2015 at the age of 75. Wayne grew up in Colorado and attended Bear Creek High School and the University of Colorado majoring in Business Administration and Engineering. He started his career by developing what was, at the time, the largest ambulance and medical supply company in Colorado. He further developed and constructed nursing homes, apartments, townhouses, office buildings and a shopping center. He was administrator of two large nursing homes and held many licenses in the health care and construction fields. For the last 20 years, he was in the finance industry also while thoroughly enjoying 19 years of being a school bus driver. He chose to serve God at the tender age of 7 ½ and faithfully served him until his death. He was preceded in death by: Parents John and Signe Schilling, Sister, Maeola Morgan Grand-daughter Stephanie Maynard and step Grand-daughter Raina Lehto Wayne is survived by: Wife Corrine Son Jack Schilling (wife Loida) Step-son Arnie Lehto (wife Suni) Daughter Kaelene Schilling And Daughter Karla Miller (husband Brian) Through them he was gifted with: 8 grandchildren 8 great-grandchildren with another on the way!
