John Russell Ramirez

John Russell Ramirez was born in Chicago on July 11, 1958 to John and Beverly. He was a business owner specializing in pest control, affectionately referred to as “the bug guy.” He met his wife later in life and they served together in the God Behind Bars prison ministry. John was known for his silly sense of humor and was a dad joker extraordinaire. He died peacefully on June 25, 2024 surrounded by family and friends.

John is survived by his wife Sandy, sister Janet (Frank) Korsak, sister Christine, son Sam, daughter Rachel (Frank) Granieri, daughter Jessica (Tyler) Reed, stepdaughters Mandy (Matt) Cavoto, Melanie (Jason) Edmund and his grandchildren Madelyn, Jackson, Aria, Uriah and Clay.

John is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Raymond.

 A celebration of John’s life will be held at 2 pm on July 26th at Horan & McConaty at 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO.
