John Allen Parazak

John Allen Parazak passed on August 4, 2026, after a brief but courageous battle with lung cancer.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Arlene Parazak (née Ranay); his brother, Dennis Parazak; his children, J. Christopher Parazak and Stephanie (Christian) Eberle; his stepsons, Kevin (Kerri) Park, Shawn Park, and Brian Park; his grandchildren, Colton (Carter) Parazak, John, Natalie, and Bennett Parazak, and Josephine, Emilia, and Margaret Eberle; his step-grandchildren, Elliott and Cameron Park; his great-grandson, Colton Parazak Jr.; the mother of his children, Cynthia Parazak (née Nesbit); and many cherished aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Marissa Parazak.

John was born on July 16, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, to the late John and Rose Marie Parazak. He enjoyed a classic 1950s childhood alongside his brother, Dennis, filled with imagination, adventure, and dreams of someday owning a Red Ryder BB gun. In a fitting full-circle moment, the brothers finally shared the joy of unwrapping their own Red Ryder BB guns together during Christmas 2016, creating a treasured memory. John also shared a special bond with his aunts, Ruth and Rita, who lived with the family during his childhood and played an important role in his early years.

John built a successful 38-year career with Eaton (Cutler-Hammer) Corporation in manufacturing and sales, a path that took him and his family to many cities across the United States. He ultimately found his true home at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Denver, Colorado. A lover of the outdoors and natural beauty, John embraced everything Colorado had to offer. He spent countless days skiing, hiking, sightseeing, and exploring the state's breathtaking landscapes, while instilling in his children a deep appreciation for the Centennial State.

Among life's blessings was meeting Arlene, the love of his later years. The two were married on April 14, 2012, and shared fourteen wonderful years of marriage. Together, they created lasting memories through countless adventures in the Rockies, across the United States, and around the world. John introduced Arlene to golf and fly fishing. In return, Arlene introduced him to international cuisine.

John’s legacy lives on through the family and friends who were fortunate enough to share in his life, laughter, and love of exploring. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
