John Robert Joe Pacheco

John Robert Joe Pacheco, 61, of Aurora, Colorado, passed away on September 20, 2026. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, and friend whose warmth, devotion, and love for family will be remembered by all who knew him.

John proudly served his country as a Specialist in the United States Army, including an assignment in Germany. His military service reflected the dedication, patriotism, and sense of duty that remained part of his character throughout his life. He carried with him lasting memories of camaraderie and service.

After returning to civilian life, John devoted himself to the people he loved most. His greatest joy was time spent with family and friends, especially outdoors. Whether he was fishing, camping, firing up the barbecue, or simply enjoying the company of those around him, John found happiness in life’s simple, meaningful moments. In quieter times, he enjoyed the challenge and comfort of working on puzzles.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Dina Pacheco, his soulmate and the true love of his life. He is also survived by his children, Anthony Pacheco, Sarah Shields, Deven Pacheco, and Elijah Pacheco; his brother, Michael Pacheco; and his grandchildren, extended family members, nieces, nephews, and friends who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate John’s life will be held on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
