John David Nelson

John David Nelson, 53, had a long, courageous battle with cancer, passing away peacefully on October 9, 2014 with family by his side. Beloved son of John Douglas and Nancy Nelson; and brother of Susan (Nigel Clayton) Nelson. He is also survived by supportive aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. John was a graduate of Cherry Creek High School and received his Bachelors degree from The University of Colorado-Boulder in Business. John was a master practitioner of neuro-linguistic programming, and a graduate of Leadership Program of the Rockies. He loved his work coaching business clients. He enjoyed the great outdoors with skiing, fly fishing and hiking. He was also an avid reader. A Celebration of Life gathering will be Saturday, October 18, 3:00 PM at the Wellshire Inn, 3333 S Colorado Blvd, Denver.
