John Gerard McWilliams

John Gerard McWilliams, 78, of Denver, Colorado, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2023, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He was born in Chicago, Illinois, on October 3, 1944, to Walter and Josephine McWilliams. He married Catherine F. McWilliams in 1966, and they had four children together: John Walter McWilliams, Lisa Miller, Mary Baker McWilliams, and Maggie McWilliams.
John was a visionary in the real estate market in the Denver Metro area. He founded Western Skies, LLC, bringing to Denver the medical campus model. He was a passionate golfer and runner, and he always found a way to give back to the community through his charitable contributions.
John is survived by his wife of 57 years, Catherine; his children and their spouses; his seven granddaughters and one grandson; and his great-granddaughter.
John will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A service to remember John will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023, at 3:00 PM at The Sanctuary Downtown, located at 3101 W. 31st Ave, Denver, CO 80211. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Parkinson's Association of the Rockies or Mile High Ministries.
