John David Lincicome

John David "Dave" Lincicome, age 78, of Aurora, Colorado passed away on July 11th, 2024. Dave was born on October 28th, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas to John Edmond and Evelyn Calvert Lincicome. 

Dave grew up in Atlanta, Kansas, where he graduated high school. He moved on to attend Cowley County Community Junior College. He enlisted in the Navy on August 23, 1965, serving 2 tours of duty in Vietnam.

Dave started a career with AT&T in February of 1971, where he worked for over 30 years. He married his wife, Sandra Lou Fickler, on June 18th, 1971 in Garden City, Kansas. They remained married until April 21, 2006, when she passed away, spending a total of almost 35 years together. 

Dave was an avid sports fan, and loved the Kansas City Chiefs and the Royals. He was a sponsor and group leader for Al-Anon 231 Buckley Group. He was also a member of Christ the Savior Lutheran Church. 

Dave is survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents John and Evelyn, his wife Sandi, and 4 siblings.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his wife.
