John Jamison

John Collier Jamison passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 surrounded by family who love him so much.  He was 87 years old.  John was born in Fort Worth, Texas on May 10, 1934.  He is survived by his loving wife (of 63 years) Carole, his sister Grace, his children John (spouse Sharon), Gale (spouse Bill), Eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.  His family was always his greatest joy and strength.

From the time he was young, he loved all sports, baseball always being his favorite.  He and Carole loved traveling and golfing together.  One of his favorite vacations was going to Ireland with Carole where his ancestors originated.   After visiting he wore “tams” to keep his head warm or free from the sun from then on.

John served in the Navy for 4 years aboard an aircraft carrier as a flight navigation specialist.  After the Navy he was a loyal dedicated employee of Ralston Purina Company for over 40 years.

John will be best remembered for his love and dedication to his family and his continuous support of all they did.
