John Robert Howland

John Robert Howland, age 71, passed away at Denver, Colorado on December 12, 2015. John was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. He moved to Phoenix, Arizona before settling permanently in Colorado in 1971. John worked as a CPA and financial controller in various industries until he retired. John also served in the US Army Reserves. John enjoyed baseball, following the stock market and working in the yard. Survivors include his wife, Kristin Pochelon; his children, Karen Howland (Gregory Mudge), Jeff Howland (Michelle) and Barbara Howland Copeland; his grandchildren, Abigail Howland and Megan Howland; and his brother, Paul Howland. John was preceded in death by his parents, J. Robert ""Bob"" Howland and Helen Dee McAfee; and his brother, Frank Howland.
