John Frederic Dunckel

Fred Dunckel, 94, passed away on January 15, 2013. He is survived by his daughter Meme (Larry), and his son Pete (Linda). A long-time resident of Woodmoor, Fred was born in Dolgeville, NY. He married his best friend, Milly, in 1941. Fred was a mechanical engineer and later a real estate agent, as well as an officer and pilot (B-17 and B-24) in the Army Air Corps. He was a member of the Church at Woodmor and the Monument Hill Sertoma Club, and did much volunteering and charitable work. Fred was a lifelong Mason. Both Fred and Milly were proud to be a part of the Woodmoor Monument community.
