John Donovan

Donovan, John F., 89, devoted husband, father and grandfather of Parker, Colorado, passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 of natural causes.  He was born on October 17, 1931 in Bayonne NJ.  John excelled in sports as a youth and earned an athletic scholarship to attend St. Michael’s College in VT.

After lovingly raising his family and retiring from a long career as a skilled and dedicated Ironworker, he and his wife moved to Clearwater FL where they enjoyed sunshine, travel and happiness for over 35 years.  John was strong, kind and always willing to help others.

He is welcomed into heaven by the love of his life and wife of 57 years, Maureen, his parents, his brother and many other relatives and friends.  He is survived by his children Jack (Stephanie), Tom and Dan (Lauretta); 5 grandchildren Jennifer, Scott (Lorena), Lindsay, Matthew and Molly; His sister Margaret Semen (Andy); and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.  Catholic services will be arranged at a future date.
