John Dean passed away February 6, 2017. John had a very gregarious nature. The most remarkable thing about him was his ability to make people laugh. As a psychiatric social worker, he would always start a session with a joke. He worked hard at his social work and counseling even though it came naturally to him. His great love was old cars, especially old Chryslers. He bought many of those over the years. He and his wife, Lynn often went to National DeSoto Club conventions on their summer vacations to Detroit, Sacramento, Carlsbad, Fort Wayne, Chicago, Winchester, and Baltimore. He also bought a lot of toy or model cars, accumulating thousands. After his retirement, he set up a business through E-bay selling his collection of these cars. Services for John will be held Monday 2/20, at Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, CO 80229; visitation from 9am-10am, funeral from 10am-11am, followed by interment at Mount Olivet cemetery.
