John R Coffey "Jack"

John R Coffey “Jack”, aged 75, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2026, at his home in Lakewood, CO. He was a loving husband, brother, dad, cherished grandfather, and a dear friend to many.

Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, Jack lived a full life filled with love, laughter, and kindness. He had a quiet and calming presence that made people feel at ease. Raised in a small, loving family, he later embraced the joyful chaos of a larger family with open arms and would not have traded it for anything. Jack had a remarkable gift with children – no matter where he went, little kids were naturally drawn to him, and he never failed to make them smile.

Jack worked in the financial industry for most of his career. He was respected for his dedication and hard work. He approached every position he held with diligence and integrity, leaving an impression on all those who had the pleasure of working with him.

In his free time, Jack enjoyed traveling and was fortunate to visit many different countries. Although he sometimes joked that it might be nice to stay in one place for a while, he would never have traded the opportunity to experience the beauty, people, and places he encountered throughout his journeys. Jack was also an avid sports fan who spent countless hours cheering on his favorite teams, especially his beloved Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Jack will be dearly missed by his beloved wife, Cindi Coffey; his sister, Susan French; his stepdaughter, Kelly Burns; and his grandchildren, Amber Reed, Leah Grier and Wesley Burns.

Jack may have left this world and all that loved him, but his love and legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of all that knew him.
