John Allen Beard

John Allen Beard, age 79, died on July 8, 2024. He was a graduate of Lapeer High School. He went on to earn his bachelor’s degree at Midwestern Baptist College. Reverend Beard met his wife Ann Elizabeth Beard on a blind date that led to 52 years of marriage. He worked for 44 years as a pastor in multiple churches, with his last 25 years spent at the Wintersville Baptist Temple.

Reverend Beard was an avid collector of train, baseball, and all things eagles memorabilia. Above all else, he loved the Lord and dedicated his life to the ministry. He is survived by wife, Ann, their sons Paul (Emily) and Tim (Megan). He is also survived by his grandchildren Andrew (Patience), Zach, Emma, Ellery, and Addy. He was proceeded in death by his parents (Delbert and Esther), sister (Carol), and brother (Gerry).

Funeral services will take place at Horan & McConaty in Thornton, Colorado on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. Burial services will take place at a later date to be determined at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
