Joanne passed away on December 7, 2022, at age 81.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Dale Thompson; children, Richard “Richie” Curtis, Victoria “Vicki” Owen; and son-in-law Marc Owen.
She is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Curtis; grandchildren Aimee and Terry Bart and Alicia Ray; close family friend Lucky Clark; and numerous other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, December 16th from 10:30am – 11:00am, with the service to follow from 11:00am -12:00pm at Dick and Joanne’s home church, Faith Presbyterian (11373 E Alameda Ave, Aurora, CO 80012). A short reception of cookies and coffee will follow at the church from 12:00pm – 1:00 PM before a graveside burial to follow at 2:00 PM at Olinger Eastlawn Cemetery (19600 East Smith Road Aurora, CO 80011). In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to Faith Presbyterian Church.
