Joan Marie Loughrey

Joan Marie Loughrey, 58, died peacefully on December 2, 2014 at home with her beloved cat, Emma, by her side. She was born August 7, 1956 in Bermuda at Kindley Air Force Base. She attended Aurora Central High School. Joan loved cross-stitching, puzzles, Starbucks, and most of all - her family. She was preceded in death by her father William J. Loughrey, Jr.; and brother Michael Joseph Loughrey. Joan is survived by her two daughters Heather Danielle (Thomas) Lorenz of Englewood, Colorado and Jennifer Renee (Kevin) Raper of Simpsonville, South Carolina; granddaughter Tinsie; mother Esther M. Loughrey of Aurora, Colorado; two sisters Theresa E. Gallardo of Nashville, Tennessee, and Regina A. (Leonard) Montoya of San Antonio, Texas; nephews Jason (Jennifer) Espinosa, and Justin (Whitney) Gallardo; great nephews, Braiden Espinosa, Jackson, Cooper and Henry Gallardo; and numerous aunts and uncles. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, December 9, 3:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora.
