Joan Forsell Brunett

Joan Forsell Brunett, passed away peacefully on April 9, 2025, in her bed with her children Dave and Liz by her side. Joan had just celebrated her 87th birthday with her children Steve, Dave, and Liz a week earlier.

Joan was preceded in death by the love of her life and husband of 61 years, Harry Brunett. She is survived by her sister Anne Marie Nabhan and her children Steve Brunett, Dave Brunett (Barbara Jo) and Liz Keyser (Matt), in addition to her grandchildren Lexi, Shayleigh, Riley, Malory, Carly, Brady, Shelby and Wes, her niece Debi Rowland, and her nephew Gregory Nabhan.

Joan graduated from Boston University and went on to attend Katharine Gibbs School. She married Harry and moved to Columbia, Maryland where she raised her family and became a top real estate agent for RE/MAX Realtors. She was also involved with her husband’s dream of establishing a new ministry, Journeys Community, in Columbia, Maryland. Harry and Joan retired to Colorado in 2008.

A remembrance will take place at Balfour Senior Living, 8160 W. Coal Mine Ave., Littleton, CO 80123 on May 22, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
