Jo Anne (Jodi) Blakeley

Jodi Blakeley, 78, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on September 27, 2024 at her home. Born on September 23, 1946, to John and Hazel (Flynn) Blakeley in Denver, Colorado, Jodi was a beloved sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose thoughtful and creative spirit touched many lives.

Growing up in Denver, Jodi attended South High School before pursuing her passion for the arts. She studied fine art at the University of Northern Colorado.

For over 30 years, Jodi ran Century Signs, a successful custom sign company that showcased her impressive organizational skills and remarkable artistic talent. However, her true passion lay in creating ArtBabies—original miniature watercolors framed in vibrant colors that brought joy and brightness to any room.

In her spare time, Jodi loved reading, hiking, painting, and spending quality moments with her friends and family. She especially cherished her time with her granddaughters, Taylor and Lauren, engaging them in creative activities like hiking, art projects, and teaching them cultural skills, including how to use chopsticks!

Jodi was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving sister, Lorilee Branting (Norm); her devoted daughter, Jessica Schulze (Eric); and her cherished granddaughters, Taylor and Lauren Schulze.

Jodi's creativity, kindness, and warmth will be deeply missed by all who knew her. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 12th, at 11:00 AM at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Alzheimer's Association
