Jim Paden

Jimmie Lee Paden, known as "Jim", died on May 2,2026, at Collier Hospice.  He was born on November 24, 1947, in Denver, Colorado.  He graduated from West High School and attended Colorado State University.  He went on to work at Martin Marietta, and received his Bachelors Degree in IT from Regis College.  He worked as an Network Administrator as well as a wedding photographer for many years before retiring.  On August 2, 2013 he married Catherine Merritt and they enjoyed their life together.  He did videography for Narrow Gate Christian Men's Luncheon for 20 years and was named Man of the Year.  He will be missed by many close friends and relatives.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister.  He is survived by his former wife, Joleen, his daughter, Jenna and their two sons, Jeremy and wife Jessica and their son, Alex, and Justin and wife Cassie and their children, Logan and Gabby.  Jim is also survived by his wife Catherine, and his sister, Sharon and his children and grandchildren.

There will be a viewing at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home in Lakewood on Thursday, May 14 from 1-3PM. A Celebration of Life will be held at Calvary South Denver at a future date.
