On Tuesday, September 12, 2023, Jessie Colene Dixon, loving wife, and mother of two children, passed away at age 46 following a valiant battle with cancer. Jessie subsequently enrolled in American University in Washington, D.C. before transferring and completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Colorado Boulder, where she was the valedictorian of her graduating class in the business school. Thereafter, she began her professional career with MediaOne's Market Strategy Development Group, leaving to become an early team member at software startup DigiTerra Broadband. In 2006, Jessie graduated the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and accepted a job at Walmart.com in San Francisco, CA as Director of Merchandising Strategies, where she worked for six years between 2006 - 2012. Jessie moved with her family to Denver, CO in 2012 and continued her career in e-commerce, first with eBags, and beginning in 2014 as a founding team member at virtual interior design firm, Havenly, where she served as the Chief Operating Officer until 2020. Most recently, Jessie served as an operating partner at SpringTime Ventures, an early-stage technology investment fund.

Jessie was a devout Christian and member of Fellowship Denver Church. She gave back to the community through active participation and board leadership at several local non-profit organizations including Hope Kids, which supports families with children diagnosed with terminal illness, and Metro Caring, a Denver-based anti-hunger organization. In addition, she briefly served on the board of the Country Club Historic Neighborhood where she lived.

Jessie had a passion for her family, attending her children's soccer games, snowboarding, travel, friends, and the outdoors.
