Jerry E. O'Donnell

Jerry O’Donnell went home to be with the Lord on May 6, 2025 at the age of 93. 

Jerry was born on the family farm in Humbolt, Iowa. He attended school in Humbolt and following graduation enlisted in the Navy, serving in the Korean War for 4 years. Following his service to his country he attended Minnesota State College in Mankato, Minnesota. Jerry moved to Inglewood, California, in 1955 where he met Carol Wenzel. Jerry and Carol were married in 1957 and in 1961 the family moved to Denver, Colorado. Jerry learned the trade of Tool and Die Maker and in 1968 started Colorado Tool and Stamping Company. Jerry sold Colorado Tool and Die and started Frontier Metal Stamping in 1984. He was joined by his sons Mike and Steve and eventually his grandson Austin. Because of his dedication, example of hard work, and glorifying God in everything he did the company recently celebrated 40 years in business.

Jerry enjoyed traveling, being in the mountains and was an avid skier into his 80’s.

Jerry is survived by his wife Carol, his sons Mike and Steve, his daughters in law, Tricia and Sheri, grandchildren Derek, Kevin, Nick, Lauren and Austin, 10 great grandchildren, and two brothers Jim and Larry.

Services and reception will take place on June 6, 2025 at 11:00 at Horan & McConaty, 9998 Grant Street Thornton, CO. 80229. Those wishing to honor Jerry’s life can make a donation to the charity of their choice in his name.
