Jerry Dean Davis

Jerry Davis was born, and raised, in rural Nebraska to a working class family. Through his commitment to self-education and hard work he achieved a Bachelor's degree in Math and a Master's degree in Education Psychology. He went on to be a teacher and counselor. In a desire to contribute to the global community, he volunteered with the Peace Corp as a teacher for 2 years in Africa (Nigeria). He enjoyed 45 years of marriage to Carolyn and being the father of 2 daughters, Jennifer and Michelle. His interests included teaching, traveling, hiking, flying as a private pilot, world news, Nebraska football, good conversations with stories, jokes and witty sayings.
