Jerome Earl Westberg

Jerome (Jerry) Earl Westberg, age 93, died in his home on Feb 21, 2024 in Aurora, CO surrounded by his family. Survived by his wife of 70 years Jackie, his daughters Diane (Clark), Carol and Liz, his grandchildren Gwen, Tyler and Chad (Sara), and pop-pop to Wyatt, Jacob and Colton. He was the beloved son of Agnes. He is also survived by numerous relatives in the Tigue and Quist families which he always enjoyed visiting with. There will be no formal services.

Jerry was especially proud of his time in the Navy during the Korean war and attended many reunions for the USS Orleck. He worked as an airline mechanic for Braniff, Northwest and Delta airlines for over 40 years, finally retiring in 1998. 

Jerry loved anything to do with cars and could spend hours putzing around in the garage. He also loved his Harley Davidson, spending many hours riding with his friends when they lived in River Falls, WI. He was an avid fan of NASCAR, and prior to his passing, he spent the day watching the Daytona 500 with his grandson Chad.

Jerry’s roots were in Minnesota, regardless of where he moved during his career and retirement. His love for his family was fierce.
