Jerome “Jerry” Warner passed away on August 21, 2026, at the age of 66. He loved life, loved his family, loved making people laugh, and he would have hated dying.

Jerry was preceded in death by his mother, Audrey “Joanne” Warner; his father, James Warner; and his brother, Tom Warner.

He is survived by the children he loved so much: Terra Lawrence; Jennifer Klawans and her husband, Jerome; Colten Warner and his wife, Katy; and Carissa Warner.

He is also survived by his favorite ex-wife, Audrey Warner, who is not his mother. There are entirely too many people with the same name in this family.

Jerry was a proud grandfather to Isaiah Coker, Jordan Jackson, Cameron Jackson, Caleigh Jackson, Brooklyn Strobel, Jeremiah Bailey, Isabella Klawans, Easton Strobel, William Klawans, Kiana Warner, and Caylen Warner. He was a great-grandfather to Kaylani Price and Everleigh Coker, with a great-grandson on the way.

So many kids and grandkids. Just out here overpopulating the world with Warners.

He is also survived by his siblings, Kevin Warner, Karen Adams, and Mike Warner.

He leaves behind many beloved family members and friends, including all of his lady friends. We couldn't possibly leave them out.

Jerry grew up in Boise, Idaho, before making his way to Grand Lake, Colorado, his forever home. He later moved to the Denver area.

Over the years, he worked as a miner, carpenter, and custom craftsman before finishing his career in CBD procurement and logistics. He could build, repair, figure out, or somehow make just about anything work again.

He loved his family, the mountains, fishing, gardening, his boat, his trike bike, his job, and his long hair.

More than anything, Jerry was funny. Hysterically and inappropriately so. If he liked you, there was a very good chance he was making fun of you. He had a joke or a smart-ass comment for just about every situation. Every person who knew him has a story worth telling about him.

He touched an incredible number of lives. He helped people often, many times without being asked. Whether it was shoveling snow, fixing a car or appliance, or letting campers stay in the backyard, he was always willing to lend a hand.

There were so many jokes told over Jerry's lifetime, and now we're left with the ones he didn't get the chance to tell. We'll do our best to keep telling the stories, making inappropriate jokes, helping people when they need it, and keeping people laughing.

We know he's in Heaven and aggravating everyone up there.

When life gets hard, remember his best advice: "Man the f#!% up."

We love you, Dad. The world is going to be a whole lot quieter and just not as funny without you.

A Celebration of Life will be held in May 2027 in Grand Lake.
