Jennifer Anne Garrison

Jennifer Garrison, 67, ended her battle with pancreatic cancer on November 28, 2014. Born May 20, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to Anne and Ray Garrison, Jennifer was the oldest of four children. She lived in New Jersey as a child until the family relocated to Colorado, where Jennifer would spend most of her life. Though she was here for many years, Jennifer was always an East Coast woman at heart. She never lost all of her New Jersey accent, nor her love of the shore. In 1977, Jennifer gave birth to her son Ray, followed in 1979 by her daughter, Becky. She worked as a documentation specialist for the state Medicaid account until her diagnosis in June of 2014. Jennifer was a talented artist and she spent many years painting beautiful pictures and hand-crafting gifts for her friends and loved ones. She was a loyal friend and a loving grandmother, mother, sister, and daughter. Jennifer was preceded in death by her mother, Anne Garrison. A celebration service will be held Friday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m. at Horan & McConaty, 3201 S. Parker Road, Aurora, CO. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in the memory of Jennifer A.
