Jefferson FRANK Ward

Jefferson (Frank) Ward of Denver passed away on July 30, 2016 having lived a full life dedicated to his wife, family and friends. Frank was born in Coldwater, MO on October 19, 1919. He retired from the Air Force and permanently moved to Denver, a place that he loved from the first time he visited. He continued his career and retired from Civil Service. He was a loving husband of 73 years and father to 7 children. He was an active member in the Catholic church, St. Philomena, Good Shepperd and Risen Christ. He is survived by his wife Mary, his children, Judy Hettinger (Bob), Mike Ward (Joyce), Bob Ward (Andrea), Barb Shepperd (Gary), Patty Meyer (Jerry), John Ward (Suzy), Linda Falch (Dean) and 55 grand, great and great great grandchildren. A Viewing/Rosary will be held August 8, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Horan and McConaty, 1091 S Colorado Blvd., Denver. CO The funeral mass and celebration of Frank's life will be held August 9, 2016, 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 S Monaco Parkway, Denver, CO, with a burial to follow at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 S Sheridan Rd, Denver. Flowers are always welcome but please consider a donation in Frank's name to any local catholic school of your choice. We will always cherish him and his legacy of love
