Jeannine D. Hiester

Jeannine D. Hiester, 86, beloved, cherished, and brilliant mother, grandmother, friend, and teacher, died Wednesday, January 21, 2009. A native of Paris, France, she was a longtime member of the Denver community. Jeannine survived the Nazi occupation, and following her marriage to Capt. Blake Hiester, moved to Denver in 1947. She is survived by her five children, Richard, Charline, Dan, Patrick, Philip, and their spouses; eleven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. A Funeral Mass will be held 11 AM Monday, February 2, 2009, in the Loretto Heights College Chapel, with Interment and Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Red Cloud Sioux Indian Mission, or Doctors Without Borders.
