Jean Marie Odorizzi-Wilson-New

In Loving Memory of Jean M. Odorizzi September 25th, 1962 – July 2nd, 2026

Jean Marie Odorizzi-Wilson-New, lovingly known to many as Jeannie, unexpectedly crossed over on July 2nd, 2026, in Denver, Colorado. She was 63 years old.

Born on September 25th, 1962, in Trinidad, Colorado, Jeannie carried a presence that was unmistakable from the beginning. She was beautiful, confident, loving, compassionate, and warmly outgoing. She had a gift for making people feel seen, understood, and comforted, and those who spent time with her often left wanting more.

Jeannie’s gifts were lifelong. Her maternal grandmother, lovingly known as “Nanny,” was empathic. Jeannie carried that intuitive legacy with grace, credibility, and purpose. She devoted her life to helping others navigate love, loss, uncertainty, and life’s turning points.

Jeannie was widely recognized for her work counseling others. She hosted her own television talk show for more than five years and regularly appeared on top radio stations across the country. Her work was not only a career, but a calling rooted in compassion. She loved helping people through life and giving comfort to those who needed it most.

To those closest to her, Jeannie was glamorous, warm, and deeply protective. She loved beauty in all its forms: jewelry, art, fashion, flowers, and a home filled with white, gold, silver, and touches of her favorite color, purple. She also took great pride in presenting herself with care and elegance.

Above all, Jeannie was a devoted mother. She is survived by her son and best friend, Bradley “Brad” New. She is also survived by her mother, JoAnn Odorizzi; her sister, Joyce Choate; Ronald “Ron” New, Brad’s father; her nephews, Ron Carl Choate and Greg Choate; her great-nephews, Cayden Brown, Greyson White, and Giancarlo Choate; her cousins, Lidio Rainaldi and Cheryl (David) Anderson; her aunts, Helen Rainaldi, Frances "Francie" (Roger) Fazenbaker, and Marie Ruscetti, as well as numerous additional family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Odorizzi; her cousins Ruth “Ruthie” Devoti, Loretta Rawlins, Donald Odorizzi, Phylis Russ, and Michael Ruscetti; and other loved ones who surely welcomed her with open arms on the other side.

Jeannie’s life was one of beauty, devotion, and love. She helped people feel less alone. She brought comfort to strangers, elegance to ordinary moments, and deep love to those close to her. Her absence is immeasurable, but so is the light she leaves behind.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a future date. Memories, notes of condolence, and inquiries regarding flowers or other remembrances may be sent to her son, Brad New, at Bnew@usa.com.
