Janine Adams

Janine Lerae Adams (Joop) was born in Peoria, IL on January 24, 1942 to Rudolph Frederick Joop and Othalia Will (Koerner). She grew up in Detroit, MI, graduated from Cooley High and attended Wayne State University.

She married Dean Adams on February 14, 1963 and had a daughter, Jill Dorothy. Later divorced, Janine never remarried.

Janine opened a facial salon, Janine Adams Skincare, and ran it for well over 20 years with her good friend and business partner, Faye Lybeck. After closing the salon, Janine continued working as a facialist until she retired in 2016 and moved to Aurora, CO to live with her daughter.

Janine is survived by her daughter and her grandson, Wesley Doll, as well as many dearly loved friends and confidants.

Per Janine's request, there will be no funeral. She asked that her ashes be spread over places that were special to her.
