Celebration Of Life
Most Precious Blood Catholic Church
10:00 - 11:00 am (Mountain (no DST) time)
There is never a good time to say goodbye and unfortunately that time has come for someone who has touched and impacted the lives of so many around her.
Janice Lee Tolve was born January 22, 1944, at Mare Island Naval Base in Vallejo, CA. She started kindergarten at the Garden Place School where her teacher was pleased with her playing well with others but wanted her to learn to speak “more softly”. She attended Blessed Sacrament grade school and graduated from the first graduating class at Machebeuf High School in 1962.
She began her career with United Airlines by first becoming a stewardess, now known as a flight attendant. She continued working for United Airlines in the reservation center and then later had her own ticketing office until her retirement.
For the past 10 years she lived at Harvard Square where she was an ambassador and served on the community board. Janice was loved by all.
Janice passed away February 14, 2026, and is survived by her two sons, Mike Laveo and Tony Laveo, two sisters, Nancy Shelton and May Be Love, brother Jerry Tolve and 13 nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church on Thursday, March 19 at 10 am.
