Janice Sandberg

"Janice Maxine Sandberg of Arvada, Colorado passed away Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at the age of 80.  She was born May 19, 1941 to Robert and Maxine Fullerton.  She graduated from Willamette High School in 1958 followed by the University of Oregon where she received a Bachelors degree in Education in 1962.  Janice married Gary Sandberg on August 24, 1963.  Janice had a passion for education and the arts.  She taught elementary and pre-school, was an avid reader, and loved weaving, spinning, and knitting.  She was a talented multi-instrumentalist performing with harp, piano, organ, and recorder.  She was well known for beautiful hand-written correspondence to family and friends.  Janice is survived by husband Gary, daughters Jennifer and Kirsten, and brothers David, Brian, and Irving.  She will be dearly missed.
