Janice Stevens Litchard

April 4, 1936 — August 18, 2018

Jan, 82, passed away peacefully at her home on August 18, 2018 surrounded by her family. Her passion for life and her family drove her to fight her battle with cancer relentlessly for 18 months. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert M. Litchard; children, Scott (Bobbi) Litchard & B.J. (Mark) Andrada; grandchildren, Caity (Rich) Cook, Chad Litchard, Ryan Andrada & Nico Andrada; great grandchildren, Jake, Jackson & Joshua Cook; brother, Philip (Marcia) Hamm; and nephews, Dan, Sam & Dory Hamm.

Janice was born and raised in Ipswich, MA. She attended Springfield College where she met Bob. They later married in 1956. They spent many years on the east coast at Brown University and Cornell University before moving to Colorado in 1980 where Robert was the V.P. of the UC Foundation. Janice is known for her love for family and for always putting others’ needs before her own. She loved to entertain and did so with a lot of class and grace. She had a special way of making everyone who walked into her home feel welcome and special. We will miss her endearing smile and warmness.
