It is with profound sadness we share the passing of our beautiful mother Janice Hardy; she was 89. Janice was born October 21st, 1936, in Topeka Kansas. Jan attended Colorado University in 1954 where she met and married her husband of 65 years, Carroll Hardy. They resided in Boulder where Jan worked for Mattson's on the Hill for 20 years. In 1989 they moved to Steamboat Springs, and she worked as a concierge at the Sheraton Grand. Once retired she began painting in pastels and watercolors and became an accomplished artist. Over the years Jan and Carroll traveled the world going to Australia, Portugal, cruises and a safari in Zambia. Janice and Carroll moved to Windcrest in 2017, and she passed away on July 24th, 2026.

She is survived by her 3 children, Jay Hardy, Jill Bissell (William), and Lisa Wynn, 2 grandchildren, Scott Wynn, Madison Morgan (Derrick) and 4 great-grandchildren, Lucy, Luna, Ayla and Emery. 

Janice lived a full and beautiful life.
