Janice Lynn Bailey Barenkamp

Janice passed away Saturday morning on October 14th, 2023, in Greenwood Village, Colorado.

She is proceeded in death by her mother, Constance May Cartwright Bailey, her father, Lindell D’Vere Bailey and her sister, Joyce Ann Zogg.

She has two grown daughters, Kelly Ann Rainwater from Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Victoria Lynn Neal from Flower Mound, Texas as well a niece, Cathy Lynn Westoff from Princeton, West Virginia.

She has six beautiful grandchildren and one great grandson. Janice lived most of her childhood in Waxahachie, Texas and graduated from Waxahachie High School. She married Paul Barenkamp at the age of 20 and had two lovely daughters. She completed her master’s degree in business from the University of Texas at Tyler later in life and had a successful career in Oil and Gas. She moved to Colorado to be near her oldest daughter and grandchildren and later retired from a career in the technology industry. She enjoyed her retirement in beautiful Colorado traveling with her friends and spending holidays with her family and grandchildren. Her faith in Christ was an important part of her legacy to her daughters and she passed in the early morning hours into the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
