Janet Elaine Linquist

Janet (Jan) Elaine Auger Linquist, 83, peacefully passed on October 28, 2025 at her home in Littleton, CO. Jan was born and raised in Denver, and graduated from South High School. She began earning her BA in Accounting while raising 3 young children, and eventually obtained it when her children were grown. In her early career she worked at a tax firm and retired as a controller for a local manufacturing company in Denver.

In retirement Jan became an avid golfer and was on many women's golf teams. She also enjoyed going to the Denver Broncos football games, playing cards, doing puzzles, traveling, being outdoors and spending time with her family and many friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Gertrude Auger, her sister Caroline Auger and her daughter Michelle O'Hara Albert.

Jan is survived by her sister Kathleen McGaughey, her daughter Cynthia O'Hara, her son Doug (Lisa) O'Hara, her son-in-law Tom (Michelle) Albert, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and her beloved dog Alfie.

Friends are invited to Horan & McConaty, 3101 S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, CO on November 5 at 3 pm to honor Jan's full life.
