Jane Lee Duncan

Jane Lee Duncan passed June 15, 2025 at home in the arms of her husband of 56 years. She was 78 years old, born July 22, 1946 in Denver Colorado and succumbed to a lengthy disease of PSP.

Jane is survived and missed by her loving family, husband Garry R. Duncan, Daughters Rhonda Lynn Duncan (Karl) of Broomfield CO, Dana Marie Duncan (Michael) of Brooklyn NY, and sons Darren Ray Duncan (Rayna) of San Diego CA and Ryan Christopher Duncan (Melissa) of Westminster CO. She is remembered and cherished by four grandchildren, Sienna, Cody, Kayden and Kailer Duncan. Siblings and their families are Carol, Marylou, Judy, Cindy, Rosanne, Joe, John, Ceil, Margie, and Mike. Jane was predeceased by her father, Pete Heit, and mother Mary Heit. Her memory also lives on with many nieces and nephews. Jane attended Presentation, Mary Crest High School, and Parks Business College. Strong friendships grew everywhere she called home, including Houston (Spring) Texas, Arlington Texas, Littleton and Arvada CO.

Jane took an active role in the lives of her children by joyfully being a stay-at-home Mom until they became adults, then serving as a Code Technician for the City of Arvada. She was a skilled seamstress and enthusiastically enjoyed crafts, including stained glass, Christmas decorations as well as many other creations. Her greatest joy however always remained with her children and family. She coached, cherished, raised, influenced and loved four children to create four responsible, successful and loving adults. Consistency, reliability, unsurpassed empathy and authenticity along with love for others was her hallmark.

Words cannot describe the love, sensitivity and joy Jane brought to her world, nor the degree of loss her family feels. Her love was evident and radiant by all who knew her.
