With deep sadness, the family of Jamie Renae Liechty shares that she passed away on
October 10, 2026, at the age of 48. Born on April 3, 1978, Jamie’s life was centered on the
people and moments she cherished most.

Jamie earned a bachelor’s degree in behavioral science from Metropolitan State University,
specializing in special education. This accomplishment reflected the care and dedication
she brought to understanding and supporting others.

Jamie found happiness in paddleboarding, getting lost in a good book, enjoying a cup of
coffee, traveling, and watching movies. Above all, the time she shared with her children
held the most special place in her heart.

Jamie leaves behind her loving husband, Rob; her six beloved children, Ruben, Xavier,
Julissa, David, Anthony, and Samiah; her mother, Mary; her brother, Bob; and her sister,
Julie. Her absence will be deeply felt by those who loved her, and the memories they shared
will remain close in their hearts.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Jamie at Horan & McConaty in
Aurora on Saturday, October 17, 2026. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m., followed by the
funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Together, those who knew and loved Jamie will honor her life
and the lasting place she holds in their hearts
