Jamie Katharine Baldwin

July 6, 1976 — July 23, 2025

Jamie (Jame) Katharine Baldwin was born on July 6, 1976, at Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska and left this world on July 23, 2025, in Littleton, Colorado, at the age of 49.

Jamie was born with multiple congenital heart defects and underwent, in her short life, many heart surgeries including 2 open heart surgeries, the placement of a pacemaker and multiple cardio-conversions. She also dealt with mental issues and battled depression most of her life.

She graduated from Pomona High School, Arvada, CO in 1995 and earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in metalsmithing from Colorado State University. This was a reflection of her deep love for art and creating beautiful things. After graduation, Jamie used her artistic talents working for The John Atencio Jewelry and Diamond Company before eventually finding a second calling in accounting. She worked in the accounting department at Craig Hospital for 16 years.

Jamie is survived by her family, which was the most import thing in her life. These included her parents Jack and Kate Baldwin, her brother Jess (wife Kira) and her nephews Jace (wife Sara) and Tyce Baldwin, her longtime partner Ryan Phillips and his son Austin and her dogs Mazie and Luna, as well as many loving Aunts, Uncles and cousins. She was a loyal friend and had a close circle of friends many of whom were long term friends from Pomona High School.

A gifted artist and jewelry maker, Jamie’s creativity was a constant in her life and her creations brought great joy to her and those who were lucky enough to wear the jewelry she created. She loved hugely, had a very open, loving and caring heart and would be the first one to offer help if it was needed.

Jamie was preceded in death by her grandparents Ed (Doc) and Polly Gubser and Bob and Irene Baldwin with whom she had very close relationships, and her beloved dog MJ.

A celebration of Jamie’s life will be held at a later date.
