Jim lived a full life and passed away in Aurora CO after a lengthy illness. He was born in Biloxi MS on April 23, 1951.
Jim’s many hobbies and interests included planes, cars, travel, and history. He was a mechanical savant and aviation enthusiast. He was the type of man that could fix anything.
He enjoyed lively discussions on world events, politics, history, and aviation. His intelligence made him very knowledgeable on many subjects and he loved to share that knowledge with friends and family. He enjoyed reminiscing about his past military service and travels.
He served his country honorably in the US Air Force and was very proud of his service as an aircraft mechanic.
Jim was a very giving and kind person and was always there to help family and friends. He was the kind of person that would give you the shirt off his back. He will be missed by the many neighbors that he had befriended and helped over the years.
He is survived by a loving family of 5 brothers, 4 sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Commander Slash, who was his trusted companion.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marian and John.
