James Edward Papini

James (Jim) Edward Papini, 71, of Westminster, Colorado passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, July 14th.

Jim was born to Francis and Carol (Wulfhop) Papini on May 8, 1948 in Jamaica, New York.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents and youngest brother, Tom.

Jim is survived by his wife Diane (Link) Papini, children Brian (Erika) Papini, Lori (Randy) Sanchez, Michael (Brittany) Papini and 5 grandsons. He is also survived by his siblings Jane Oberg, William (Carol) Papini, Cathy Morgan and 6 nieces and nephews.

Jim loved traveling around the world, his cabin in Grand Lake, CO and spending time with his family. He was a proud Navy Vetran and volunteer firefighter for Setauket, New York Fire Department.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 4pm-7pm at the Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 7577 W. 80th Avenue, Arvada Colorado.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday July 18, 2019 at 11am at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church, 7400 W. 80th Avenue, Arvada, Colorado.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donaitons may be made to The Children’s Hospital, Denver.
