James Arthur Murta
James (Jimmy) Murta, age 67 died on April 20th, 2026 at home.
Jimmy served in the United States Navy for four years and spent much of his adult life living in San Francisco. For the past 15 years he has lived in Colorado.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his grandparents; Moises Garcia and Placida Garcia, his parents; John Murta and Virigina Murta.
Survived by his brother; Ronny Murta, Sister Darla (Kenny) Sanchez
Aunt; Maryellen Garcia
Nieces and Nephews; Zach(Mindy) Chris(Bethany) Stefan(Dalee) Alex, Lola, Alyssa, Leah, John Arla and Isabelle.
We cant forget to mention his favorite Corgi, Bella.
Jimmy will be missed by many.
A visitation will be held on Friday May 8, 2026 and 11AM with a Mass led by Chris Sanchez to follow. We will have a burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery the following Monday at 10:00AM on May 11th 2026.
