James R. Mudd, Sr., (Jim) passed away peacefully on August 31, 2014 after a battle with cancer. Jim was born in Jefferson City, Missouri to Charles and Viola (Loeffler) Mudd on December 20, 1930. Jim attended LSU on an R.O.T.C. scholarship receiving a degree in Geology. After his stint in the Air Force, he settled down in Arvada, Colorado with his wife Margie, who preceded him in death. Jim worked as a Tool Design Engineer for Gardner Denver. Jim was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, the Denver Broncos and the Colorado Rockies. Jim is survived by his son, James Jr., daughter Jeanne (Andy) Saindon, grandchildren Jason (Jinny) Mudd, Eric (Katie) Mudd, Andrea (Caleb) Vannice, Sam (Nadia) Saindon, nine great-grandchildren, and his brother Charles. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2014, 1:00pm, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 E. County Line Rd., Centennial, CO 80122.
