James W. Monsour, M.D.

Dr. James W. Monsour, dedicated surgeon and devoted husband. Practiced medicine in Denver since 1956. He was a thoracic surgeon at Rose Hospital and upon retiring became a geriatric specialist in the Denver area. Dr. Monsour was beloved by friends and patients. He will be remembered for his loving nature and sweet spirit. His strong religious beliefs were paramount in his life. He is survived by his wife, June, and two sisters, Miriam Donnellon of LaPlata, MD, and Sally Monsour Hall of Atlanta, GA. Funeral Mass will be held at Mother of God Catholic Church, Speer at Logan Street 10:00 AM Wednesday, Interment at Fairmont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to Catholic Charities, 2525 W. Alameda Ave., Denver 80219.
