James "Jim" Henry Reimer

James “Jim” Henry Reimer, age 86, of Lakewood, passed away on May 7, 2026. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on April 29, 1940 to Harold & Majorie Reimer. He was the 3rd of 10 children. Jim enlisted the United States Marine Corps in 1961 serving honorably until 1965. In 1969, he moved to Colorado where enjoyed riding Motocross until the age of 70. Jim worked as a carpenter, retiring from Edward Kramer and Sons in 2002. 

Jim is survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris Marie Brown, their two children, Christina (Brendan Enstrom) and James Reimer (Ciara Pias) and 4 grandchildren, Ryan, Brenna, Chet and Scarlett. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters and 3 brothers. 

Funeral Services will take place at Horan & McConaty in Lakewood, May 19, 2026 at 10:00 am. Burial services will be at Arvada Cemetery immediately following the service.
