Jim and his great sense of humor and competitive spirit departed this Earthly existence to join his beloved wife, Edi and youngest daughter, Jill Guy, June, 18th, 2026. He is survived by his eldest daughter, Jonne Guy and his grandson, Nicholas Martz. He will always be remembered as someone who had a fierce competitive spirit, love of animals and children and a strong sense of right and wrong. Always imparting his sympathy and generosity to help those in need.
Always handy with a tool or his brain power Jim built, renovated, fixed and designed numerous projects either around the house, his family members or for his clients. He was a go-to for his clients when running into project questions on piping, fixtures or small or large industrial blueprints. He successfully ran his own company supplying industrial pipe and fittings for various clients here locally, nationwide or internationally for many years.
His sense of humor always ran on the dry side of things and was a huge fan of British comedies and comedies in general.
A Memorial Service will be held to honor Jim's life at Horan & McConaty Funeral Service and Cremation, 3101 South Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, CO 80227 on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to an animal shelter, Shriner's Children Hospital or St. Jude's.
