James Gordon Carson Jr.

On January 28, 2020 at age 95, Jim went home to be with our Father in heaven. He is survived by his children, Emery and Regina (Pete) Peters, grandchildren Jimy (Xochitl), Christopher (Stephanie) and Eryca, great grandchildren: Tyler, Bethany, Baily, Belyn and James and great great granddaughter Azleigh. He is also survived by a sister, Marilyn Miller. Jim was a generous and caring man. He gave freely of his time, talents and treasures to all who needed them. Even in his later years he was a role model of love, kindness and what it meant to serve God and others. He instilled in his family a sense of responsibility for each other AND for our fellow man. He will be sorely missed, but always carried in the hearts of those who knew him and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood, Colorado 80227 on February 21, 2020 at 1:00 p.m., followed by a Committal at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area B at 2:30 p.m.
