James A. Burcar

James Anthony Burcar, 80, of Lakewood, Colorado succumbed to lymphoma in the comfort of his own home surrounded by his family on August 25, 2019.

James is survived by his wife of 60 years, Patricia, daughters Cindy Osif, Vicki Brotzman, Mary Quinlan, sons Scott, Mark, Rick, brother Larry, 13 loving grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

James was a loving father, husband, grandfather and friend. James was always there to help relatives and friends with household projects or whatever else people needed from him.

The family will receive friends and family at a visitation on Thursday, August 29, 2019 beginning at 6:00 PM with the Recitation of the Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church, 9405 West Florida Avenue, Denver, Colorado. Interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 12801 West 44th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, Colorado. A Reception will follow the Interment at The Club at Rolling Hills, 15707 West 26th Avenue, Golden, Colorado.
