Jack Fredericksen, passed away May 24, 2014 at the age of 81. He was born February 11, 1933 to Harold, Sr. and Eunice (Vaughn) Fredericksen in Pasadena, California. He is survived by his wife Judy (Greene) Fredericksen; daughters Kim Fredericksen, Karen (Mike McKinley) Fredericksen, Julie Fredericksen and Jill (Michael Fitts) Fredericksen; son Kevin Bailey; grandchildren Shane & Nikki McKinley; sister Joan (Bill) Wagoner; poodle Molly, his constant shadow. Preceded in death by son Aaron Bailey. Jack will be remembered as a gifted professional musician, educator, composer and arranger. He played with the Hot Tomatoes Dance Orchestra, ""A Pair of Jacks"" and composed and arranged for the Denver Brass. A musical Celebration of Jack's life will take place on June 9 from 7-10 PM at the Mercury Café, 2199 California St, Denver. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Jack Fredericksen Memorial Fund that has been established for the Denver School of the Arts Music Department.
